Eschewing the rock music and the manly roars that bogged down the previous teasers, the full trailer for Universal's Robin Hood [RBNHD] reveals there's actually a story to the action adventure beyond just men running around huffing and puffing, yelling at one another and killing each other. Russell Crowe [RCROW] stars as the legendary 13th Century English archer who arrives home after fighting abroad in King Richard's army only to find the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham. He leads a band of outlaws to fight for the common folks against the upper class, while at the same time trying to win the hand of Maid Marion, played by Cate Blanchett [CBLAN]. The effective trailer gives hope that the Ridley Scott [RSCOT] directed Robin Hood will be more like Gladiator and less like Kingdom of Heaven when it opens on May 14th.
