The webslinger did not reach the second weekend record held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens $149.2 million or Avengers: Endgame’s $147.4 million. The 10 day haul stands at a record $655.09 million.
The Odyssey [ODYSE] remained in second place with $31.5 million, advancing its collections to $461.17 million after 4 weekends.
One Night Only [ONTON] opened with $5.7 million. The romantic comedy received a B+ from an audience that skewed females at 74%.
Super Troopers 3 [STRO3] ticketed just $4.0 million, well short of the $15.1 million debut by the previous installment in 2018. The sequel Was graded B- by the 72% male crowd.Ice Cream Man [ICREM] earned just $2.01 million from 1671 theaters.
Hadestown: The Musical [HDSTW] tallied $391K in its third weekend for a total of $20.22 million.
Tony [TONY] cooked $349K from 6 theaters, while Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma [TSDCM] grossed $252K at 5 locations. Both will expand everywhere on August 21st.
I Want Your Sex [IWYX] dropped 74% from its debut to $167K and a sum of $1.27 million.
