New trailer for The Smurfs

Sony has unleashed a new trailer for the feature adaptation of the cartoon The Smurfs [SMURF].    The trailer sets up an invasion of New York City by an unknown force, which is sure to enduce groans from adult moviegoers when the little blue men and one woman are revealed.  Neil Patrick Harris [NPHAR] plays the straight man role similar to Dave in Alvin and the Chipmunks, while Hank Azaria [HAZAR] plays the villain Gargamel, a wizard in the cartoons who wants to capture and eat the Smurfs.
