On a long weekend where Valentine's Day fell on Sunday, the perfectly timed romantic comedy Valentine's Day [VSDAY] bloomed an estimated $66.855 million to set a new record for the 4-day President's Day weekend.  The previous high of $52.0 million was held by 2007's Ghost Rider.   Warner Bros. put together an all-star ensemble cast that proved irresistable to couples and female moviegoers looking for love.

Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief [PJALT] debuted in second place...

Even though this is already the THIRD Toy Story, Disney*Pixar reminds you Toy Story 3 [TOYS3] is from the creators of Finding Nemo, Up and WALL-E, rather than Toy Story and Toy Story 2.   The new trailer introduces the new character of Ken, voiced by Michael Keaton [MKEAT], in a blatant product placement for Barbie.  Whatever happen to Bo Beep?   You know, the character Pixar created in Toy Story because Mattel thought Barbie was too good for them.

Filling out the bits of actions from the Super Bowl ad, the full trailer for The Last Airbender [BENDR] shows off the cast of mainly unknowns.  Fans of the anime series will be coming for the story and special effects, but newcomer Noah Ringer still has to convincingly pull off the lead starring role of Aang from the Air Nation.  While Twilight alum Jackson Rathbone [JRATH] who plays Sokka of the Water Nation may be the most recognizable to the young target audience, I'm most excited about...
