i've never

i've never tried to short a stock, just started playing this week so this might be the nail in my coffin for me, but if I feel as if H2 is going to continue to drop, is shorting 10,000 shares now in line with that thinking? its curretnly at like H$49, if i think its gonna hit H$45 tomorrow, it would be better to short now right? Or should I be waiting for more movement in the market before I make a decision to short?
