Here is a question for you big timers and folks who been around the block
So I bought on short 250 of a movie stock and shorted it. However it rose and now it's in the dumpers. So I covered 20 shares and am left with 230 still short. But there is now way the movie will do good at the box office so how does this work in details. If it turns around how do I profit or cash in from this?
Also how or better yet when do your profit from shorts. Is it only after the movie comes out and the results come in?

For a small port, it's generally not a good idea to short a security unless you are fairly certain it is going to drop Nov 17, 19:53
