Question about selling position...

Posted by: Christguy on Apr 10, 13:24

Hey all,

I'm a long time player but I dont normally do much with the forums. I seem to remember years ago that you were able to sell your positions, that someone had sold their position on ebay. Does anyone have any info on how to do this or is it even allowed (or am I just remembering things incorrectly).

Thanks!

Question about selling position... Christguy Apr 10, 13:24

you mean your portfolio. yeah every once in a while someone tries to sell theirs on ebay, but i dont know how much they have been getting {nm} islander Apr 10, 15:11

Thanks for the response! I'll try it and see what happens... anyotherplaces one can sell it besides Ebay? {nm} Christguy Apr 12, 09:07

Craigslist? Though they require you set a fixed price, no bidding. There are other bidding sites besides EBay too. {nm} DTravel Apr 12, 12:27

You can put "$50 or best offer", which does turn into a bid thing if you just write down bids and phone numbers. People will always lowball {nm} arf Apr 13, 12:35

"Best Offer" posts get removed. I tried that once and my ad was gone within an hour. {nm} DTravel Apr 14, 12:01
