Question about limited release delisting

If movie in limited release is removed from theatres before 12 weeks, does it delist at that moment or it will delist on 12 weeks anyway ?

And if a movie in limited release gets to DVD before the end of the 12 weeks, what happens ?

Might be stupid questions, but I'm new and willing to learn eveything that has to be known.
