I think the post could be interpreted as a "call to action" OR opinion..kind of a "gray area" post...
Ove the years, DMac has indicated that posts like "I think MOVIE is terrible, and everyone should short it" is a "call to action" and is a violation of the CofC... however - if I say "I think MOVIE is terrible because the star has not done well in the past, the director has not ever directed a decent movie and I hear the ending is horrible..." then he has allowed those types of posts.
I do think his original post was in the "gray area" which may be why it's been allowed to stay (and not deleted) but I wanted to also point out that in MY reply to the original post about it, that IF he had given "reasons" as to why the movie (or derivative) would do well...he should also state THAT to avoid CofC issues. By doing so, I think DMac allows posts similar to his if "reasons" are given for the opinion.
That's is why I pointed out about posting some "reasons" as to why he thought the movie would not (or would) do well... hope that clarifies some.
