Golden Globes aside, most studios promote nominations with "For Your Consideration" advertisements which DMac/Antibody and
the crack staff scour for ideas. 20 shots at 10 noms. Ya think any are missing?
Give him his props, there have been very few "none of the above" nominations, so the list of potentials has been quite good. In the last couple of years, there have been additions to the nominoption list based upon nominations and wins from other award lists.
Remember also, the GG's have a separate comedy and musical category, which helps get a lot of "Nine" performers mention, but AMPAS tends to lean more toward dramas.
Sci-fi? Animated? Comic Books? Bah Humbug.
