Did you short HGAM3 when it was AT $400?
You missed out on a lot of profit if you didn't.
Several years ago we had a huge market price adjustment... there was alot of panic selling due to falling prices, etc... THIS is nothing like THAT was. I lost over $50 in a matter of 2 days... but we also made $$ back when the panic stopped and traders were then buying back and snapping up bargains on stocks that were (THEN) way under priced for what the movie was...
The maket changes all the time... you may want to unload some of your 'dead wood?'
I'm not saying I have all the right answers, but if your port is bleeding daily, then you have to look at what you're holding and unload things...stop the bleeding with the 'losers.'
Every now and then I'll look at stocks I've lost $1M or more on over time, and dump them... sometimes they seem to go down in price daily by 50 cents, 10 cents, 25 cents, etc...so rather than keep these bleeders, I unload them... I can always buy them back later when this 'slow bleed' stops...
I'd take a hard look at your stocks as see if you can figure out 'which' ones continue to cost you $$..
