Up for grabs in joining the PVL: Some competitive bragging rights with a side order of friendly banter :)
I completely agree with Rocket: The main benefit in joining the different Port Value Leagues is to be able to measure oneself against other HSX players with similar port sizes.
This being said, a bit of friendly competition is always enjoyable. Gunning for the monthly top 3 against other HSX'ers of similar stature and 'experience' is rather fun. This brings a new 'challenge' to the table, where you are not merely judging your own capabilities and ticking off your own milestones, but also taking heed of others too.
Yes there will always be one winner and a few losers, but this will never be to the detriment of the latter. It's merely a case of winning the bragging rights 'title' for 1 month, whereas the others will now strive to improve the following month.
Tips, insider information and general banter are other areas of high value that these PVL's bring.
We are definitely always looking for more active players to join the leagues :)
