then, it will cash out at $400.  The 2.7 multiplier applied at opening weekend is like an estimate of how much money the movie will make over four weekends, based on the average of all wide releases.

You might want to look at how other movies that have had big opening weekends have performed. Some, like Avatar, have delisted at a price higher than it adjusted to on opening weekend, Others, like New Moon, have delisted way lower than their opening weekend adjust.  www.boxofficemojo.com is a very good source for this information.
