Most blockbuster warrants are held by roughly the same number of people who are holding funds that have IPO'd in a similar timeframe
Some people may think that it is worth jumping in for the final jump but would prefer to not bother letting thier fake cash sit still for a few weeks in the interim. Many BW's grow quickly at first then slow before their final jump at delist.
If I had a smaller portfolio I would consider buying at IPO, then selling at 2-3 weeks and buying back in close to delist.
For example, SW16.BW had a droi of >2% for the first 3 weeks, but then spent 37 days where the average droi was only 0.7% until of course there was the huge jump of H$32 to delist for a final day of 142%.
There are those out there employing such agressive trading strategies that it makes sense that they wouldn't bother buying the stock back again until the last day. Every fake dollar not invested to return at the maximum possible rate on that day is wasted fake money :P
