Observations in search of explanations: Shares held, inexplicably.
DDIGG is pre-IPO, apparently unavailable for trading until June 26. Yet its page indicates 100,000 shares already held long, 40,000 shares already held short. How?
HSXer slight1's profile indicates 711 positions and 151,997,950 shares held. That is more than 200,000 shares per position. How?
KaiGee indicates that holding every share available (roughly 1,100 movies, 1,400 stars, 40 derivatives) would involve a shade more than 142,000,000 shares, yet two traders are reported to hold more than 150,000,000 shares each. How? Holding a single security long and short might explain that (mathematically, not sensibly), but one of the relevant traders is reported as holding 711 positions.
