I thought this movie was much better than the 2nd movie. Of course not as good as the First, but I can definitely see why it got a cinema score of A.
5 minutes into the movie and we get to see rosie huntington-whiteley's very shapely **** walking up the stars in nothing but a mans button down shirt and panties. Yeah She may not be Megan Fox, but there is no denying this girl is frickin hot.
I've heard complaints about the acting, but I mean come on people. Look at what kind of movie this is. This isn't Oscar material, its not a drama.. There were some big names in this movie. You could tell that Malkovich had fun doing this movie. McDormand did very well playing the don't call me Maam tough broad of the CIA. I've loved Turturro in all these movies, just looks like he's having a ball.
I thought Shia LaBeouf was great in this movie. It was really nice to see him not geting pushed around and instead of having to run away from the decepticons running after them and he finally killed one himself.
Overall I thought the movie itself was fine. The action sequences were awesome. There was one really good scene on the highway with Shia inside bumblebee. Bumblebee has to transform to jump over an obsticle which of course sends Shia flying and bumblebee catches him and throws him back in the seat as he transforms back into a car the whole while Shia just screaming his head off not realizing he's back in the car. As I said I can sit back and watch a movie like this for what it is and find enjoyment in it. The plot was good I liked the Moon landing tie in's and coverups and even the secret reason why Chernobyl really exploded.
It's movies like this that really make me appreciate George Lucas and to some extent Steven Spielberg. People rag on Lucas, but if it wasn't for him and what he did with the first Star Wars and starting ILM we wouldn't have any of the action movies that we love today. ILM did a phenomenal job with the special effects.
