dictate how it really does. In the future, look at the number of theatres that a movie is being released in and pay attention to more experienced players' posts. Many post prediction site information that might guide you into a better decision. It was fairly obvious that this movie was not going to earn a lot of $$. that is not to say it isn't a good movie. Sometimes the exposure (theatre count) or interest isn't there.
Also, watch which companies are distributing the movie. Sometimes this makes the decision very simple (ie. IFC).
Read through the player strategy forum and the help topics, faqs, glossary to get a better idea how this game is played.
