In the first JP raptors were far more dangerous than any of those creatures. More like the creatures in the Alien franchise.

Having them bow down to humans from the film's logic doesn't work.

New global trailer for Jurassic World [JURA4] remrej Apr 20, 08:18

The new posters are pretty awesome, too, especially the underwater shark one. {nm} RollingThunder Apr 20, 08:20

Not that impressed actually. The marketing seems to have got worse with time. {nm} reelreptile Apr 20, 08:22

So raptors can be trained and made subservient??? Talk about jumping the shark... {nm} numbersix_99 Apr 20, 08:27

It's a brilliant idea. Today's raptors could be trained, not to mention lions, tigers and killer whales. {nm} Antibody Apr 20, 09:40

Disagree on "subservient" or "bowing down". They are still animals, so it's good science fiction. Wild lions and tigers will eat you too. {nm} Antibody Apr 20, 10:50

Velociraptor are suppose to be smart. so trainable. OTOH, training T-Rex would be less believable. {nm} Antibody Apr 20, 10:53

That raptor didn't go crazy . . . he went RAPTOR! {nm} Chris Rock Apr 20, 11:14

PRevious films portrayed raptors as much more dangerous and intelligent than lions, tigers, etc... numbersix_99 Apr 20, 11:29

"more" is subjective. They hunt in packs like other animals. They are raised in captivity and would be subject to conditioning. {nm} Antibody Apr 20, 11:54

That's a reductive comparison. Like saying training pugs and tigers are the same. Look at the differences. Size and dexterity matter {nm} numbersix_99 Apr 20, 12:05

Size? Bears can be trained. Dexterity? Apes can be trained. {nm} Antibody Apr 20, 12:08

CPRAT is just so good, thrilled for his rise to stardom. Can't wait for this. {nm} skunkrunner Apr 20, 08:45

if your ass is dumb enough to go to a theme park with dinosaurs in the exhibits, you deserve to be eaten {nm} professor smartbrain Apr 20, 10:49

Esepcially after the first 3 attempts {nm} Dorfman Apr 20, 13:21

Is there any info on whether this is a solo movie or if they're planning to do more? {nm} MattW Apr 20, 11:08

It's planned as the first of a new trilogy {nm} notfabio Apr 20, 11:33

and then the inevitable crossover with Fast & Furious {nm} professor smartbrain Apr 20, 12:03

Fast & Raptor {nm} Dorfman Apr 20, 13:21

I just wish they left more to the imagination...or has it been proven more folks go to the movie is they get the cliff notes in the trailer? {nm} Catzan Apr 20, 12:37

God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs... {nm} Dorfman Apr 20, 18:48
