WB had previously claimed 6/3/22, 7/15/22, 8/5/22 for Untitled WB Event films. Only 8/5 is a wide open period presuming INDI5 doesn't hold.
It would open the weekend before JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION on that first date and get crushed, would open the weekend after CAPTAIN MARVEL 2 and get crushed.
I don't think anyone really believes INDI5 is opening the end of July 2022.
The mid July date is their "lucky" IMAX tentpole date.
