Marquee franchises (Rocky/Creed would count as 1 - just) don't go direct to streaming, Covid issues notwithstanding
* Knives Out - big budget yes - wasn't yet a franchise when sold (the 2nd film was bought at ideation stage) & may yet get theatrical wide.
All non marquee/tentpoles (independent or standalone films/lesser franchises) are up for grabs (read - experimentation).
Marquees will at worst have reduced windows if that.
