Variety spoiled it on social media including the name of the actor.
This really has to stop... and that includes posting stuff in the subject line here. Maybe some people here want to go into the movie without knowing about Superman so they can be surprised (which is the intention)? I know lots of people (including myself) who diligently avoid the trailers so they can be surprised when they go see a movie, unlike Spider-Man: No Way Home where EVERY SINGLE CAMEO was spoiled in advance... including here.
No one spoiled the cameo by Wonder Woman in Shazam 2 (or in another more recent movie) and remembering the reactions to the other Spider-Men appearing in No Way Home makes me think that some people prefer that then to have every single beat and cameo spoiled in advance. If this was a leak that came from Warner Bros (rather than something that was seen in the cut shown at CinemaCon), then it's even more egregious.
