To put it another way, one question in exit polls is "why did you want to see this movie". you can select multiple answers and one of them is "director". Usually that scores in the single digits but folks like Jordan Peele and Chris Nolan score in the 40's. I can see Coogler getting a similar score going forward. When a director is driving attendance, its a real help in getting butts in seats.
