AMC is in pretty bad shape (even by AMC standards) and out of shares and unlikely to get shareholder authorization for more shares.
That and every attempt to raise incremental revenue (premium priced seating, more paid trailers, etc) has had to be walked back. As much as it's extremely unlikely any Netflix film release (except maybe Wake Up Dead Man and K-Pop and even K-Pop at this point is ???) will do significant box office they can't really be brave at this point and leave money on the table from even a single weekend of sellout box office.
