Just from the shabby way that 20th Century is handling Ella McCay, they really should have just delayed it until 2026

Apparently, they are sending out screeners to film critics, maybe to get them to see it before their awards deadlines, but from what I've heard (I haven't seen it, been invited to a screening or gotten a screener), it's pretty bad... another embarrassment for James L. Brooks, and as far as Emmy winner Ayo Edebiri is concerned, her 2025 might as well be called "One Bomb After Another." I hope she starts seeking new representation in 2026.... and I say this as someone who loved After the Hunt and thought she was great in it. I'm fairly alone among critics.
