Question: Is it just more of Uncut Gems; about an insufferable fiend that creates one tense, escalating cringe after another? Or different?

I guess I'd say I sort of RESPECTED Uncut Gems; I certainly didn't LIKE it. It's not the sort of picture I long to watch again. However, Gems had the degenerate gambling addict element in it, which drove the chain of uncomfortable actions by the character. 


One thing I will always remember about Uncut Gems is an exclamation made at the screening; a woman sitting behind me letting out an exhausted "FINALLY!" when Howard's story came to a sudden end. A few people grudgingly laughed in response, but I remember thinking to myself "exactly". 

Am I gonna feel the same way about Marty; or is there more there "there" ?
