The question for me is mostly: Is it a bad film, OR is it a bad film because it doesn't cover the later, controversial, non musical stuff?
The film is going to naturally struggle critically from the get go, if it avoids the controversial stuff altogether. Plenty of "critics" are going to give a negative review regardless in that case. So it's set up to be an uphill climb critically.
The reactions I've seen from last night's MJACK screenings makes me think that it's going to struggle to get to 60% on RT Apr 21, 00:39
