some food for thought....
if Resident Evil can get $925k for Thursday, and drop another 45% this weekend, it will delist at $137M. should clear $136M at a minimum, and almost touch 2.3x mult.
if Heart of Beast the can get $790k for Thursday, and drop 40% the rest of the way out, it's going to delist around $55M. at 45% it's looking at $53.6M. I'm pulling for a 2.8x mult as a call back to the old multiplier... and the fact it deserves it.
if Forgotten Island enters the weekend with $25.75M and drops 30% from here, it's delist will be $35.82M. it just dropped 48% WoW from last Wednesday.
Bouna is doing daily PTA numbers 35% lower than Daniel and the Fiery Furnace. Daniel has been out for 20 days vs 6. Bouna is playing on nearly 400 more screens. there's a good chance it goes into the weekend with about $810k, and comes out with about $1.1M or less after the 10 day. from there the drops will become greater, it will lose a majority of it's screens in a week, and likely struggle to delist above $1.5-1.75M.
in order for Digger to delist above $25M, it would need over a 3.1x mult, and though it is doing a tad better than Dog Stars, I would assume it finishes the weekend in 7th place. and with Odyssey coming back to IMAX....
Verity isn't having a bad week. if it were to only do PRAC2 like numbers it would delist at over $70M. Oct 08, 21:18
