Many players were holding that starbond short noticing that she would be dropping some big movies in exchange for some smaller movies for her next adjusts.
The price is "drifting" upwards because different players are sporadically covering their shorts.
Recently there has been a series of high priced IPOs that have caused smaller ports to cash out of many investments in order to free up money so they could participate. When you cover a short, it has the same effect of buying a stock, and it causes the price to move upwards.
This happens from time to time, season to season, with multiple starbonds (especially with ones who do not have a next project or do not have a release date). Players invest, get bored/get poor and have to cash out.
