... not exactly saving face, but it is an accepted public sign for A-list actors of "I wasn't paid, I did someone a favour, but don't think the fee I expect as a rule has gone down." Â Something like that? Â So credited / uncredited might not have anything to do with how important or unimportant a role is... (?)
