Yea just installed it. Not a lot of time to play with it yet. I feel like the Metro theme is too tablet friendly to work well w/ a mouse

There are things I like about it, things I don't think I can get used to. I think I'll stick with Win7 for the time being.

Same here. I have a feeling I will make Win8 look and feel like Win7 when released. The tiles work well on a small screen like

I didn't realize Microsoft's new OS came out so quickly. I'm surprised since I (and many others) really like Windoze 7!

It is a beta, free to download. I played around with it for an hour or so. It looks like it is intended to bridge tablets and desktops.

Yeah, I figured it was beta. The bridging part is interesting. Is it basically still Windows 7 with more touchscreen functionality then?
