HW, that I hear alot of since beating up on the OU Sooners a couple years ago. I do believe people are good and he is one of them.
His style is a change to traditional NFL style. Nobody runs the spread option b/c the QB might get hurt and that is usually the most money for one position. I do believe he can play his style at the highest level. The blind hate is strange; I would have to eat crow but I believe that he is a genuine good guy. I do understand that he was given wiggle-room(that others were not given) because he is marketable. I do not believe that Tebos ever wanted the mania that came along with his string of wins.
A few years ago I was a noob and thought everybody could/should/would be nice, I was nieve to the world outside of my small pond. I have traveled a good deal and never really had any problems with anybody from Orlando to Los Angeles. I believe that people are 99% good but that number does not take into account the people that are rude/cynical/snark because of insecurities.
