I think only 15 fish have died in the past 3 years. I am the plant killer. (more)
I don't do weekly water changes. I'm new to testing the water. And new to trying to get a balanced system. I do biyearly water changes, Not so much planned. This summer I had a hard time keeping the tank under 90 degrees. It's currently 82 and for my fish that's high. The higher the temperature, the less disolved oxygen. So in an attempt to lower the temp, I spent 5 hours removing the hot water and replacing it with cool water. The lowest I got it was 82, but overnight it was back up past 86.
My fish, Rainbow fish, like water around 76 degrees, and 82 for spawning.

I also have dennison barbs, flying foxes, angel fish(mating pair), redtail shark, assassin snail(female).
