I'll try to reply to each of you:
@ Moviesnob: I know now that Roger was joking, but the way he wrote it didn't expressly state that intention, and as islander said, I don't really appreciate that kind of joke when it's aimed at me. But it's not just those two things you mentioned. In a couple of discussions on here, people have felt at liberty to personally insult or attack me over my opinions and beliefs, in spite of me trying to be kind and courteous to them and just explaining my opinions and beliefs in a way that (I had hoped) wasn't hurtful or whatever else.
@ islander: I've been trying to avoid having clashes with RazorHawk since I realised what you said. The reason that I asked about Christian persecution was because of what I said above to Moviesnob. I realise it's not cool, and it's probably not true, but when that sort of thing happens I do wonder.
@ slappydavid: I didn't start posting on the forums until early 2010, so I haven't had that long being exposed to the kind of things that people talk about and the way they respond to different things on here for very long.
I didn't realise that people on here liked me as much as Moviesnob and slappydavid say. I have to say that I am thankful for that, and I do appreciate that. Sorry for ranting, guys. I just needed to get this out of my system and deal with it. Thanks for being patient with me.
