we can continue to argue about ROY, but MVP is pretty clear - it should be AP - here's a crazy stat

Comeback POY will be A.D. but I still like Manning (Denver) for MVP.

hes had a great year (and kudos to you for drafting him) but Denver was a playoff team last year. Think of the Vikings w/o AP

AP is going to get Comeback Player of the Year. with a 9 game win streak and most likely a team that will win out

MVP=most valuable player. Imagine for a second MIN without AP. Denver and NE are still playoff contenders

That's a good argument, also works for Luck {nm}

Luck's been good, and is a ROY candidate...AP has had one of the best RB seasons ever and makes big plays in big games

Go back and look at the MVPs of the last 35 years. Beyond the stats they all have one thing in common, double digit wins and playoff trips.

thats a valid argument, but i dont believe MVP should automatically come from a playoff team, especially if AP breaks the rushing record.

It's the thinking of the voters. They attribute greatness to stats + wins. I agree that Luck shouldn't win MVP, but he should be in

"Over past eight games, Adrian Peterson has rushed for 1,313 yards, the most over any eight-game span in a single season in NFL history. "
