3d of course, make it an epic fantasy world, say like oz or alice (but better). Nice mix of comedy and adventure

ah if only i had the rights :)

for some odd reason, I can envision Shia LaBeaouf as Mario, Miles Teller as Luigi, and Ashley Tisdale as Princess Peach (formerly Toadstool). Chiklis as Bowser, someone for Toad maybe Michael B Jordan

But yeah as for the shorts, I watched the Mario one, just dont care for they way they reimagined it
