i've just planted a mint garden. and much the same as i started with HSX i did it not having a clue what im doing. but i just planted about

6 dozen plants of different varieties of mint. spearmint...sweet mint...orange mint...chocolate mint (no joke, theres a chocolate mint plant thats very sweet and smells like a candy store...i bought several of those) the actual sweet mint is what you find in doublemint gum....normally i have a black thumb, anything i plant dies except for this one occasion. i have a first cousin who had a premature baby...the baby was so premature they said shes gonna die. period. the babys name was tiffany. so i planted a tiffany rose bush and told God that as long as that rose bush lives, that baby will live to. that rose bush thrived and so did the baby. she graduated from high school this year. rose bushes only live so long but after the 3 years it lived, she didnt need any magic rose bushes. she is a tough little thing, a born fighter. anyway....i have a black thumb, and normally anything i plant dies. you couldnt kill these mint plants with a nuke! their worse then weeds except their good for something. i planted a couple last year as an expeirment and not only did they survive the winter theve spread out......yes my friends, i think its official.....i have become....a mint farmer. well hey somebodys gotta do it...

Very nice. Not a mint, but pineapple sage may be fun to try. It's an annual (probably for you), grows quite large (3') but... islander Jun 20, 17:57
