It's been grand introducing his music to my eight year old. Amazing how his music is a hit with the younger generations, absolutely timeless.
His death, sadly, made me realize how talented the man truly was. I had no idea how much he meant to me as a child and how inspirational his music was in my youth.
Was recently in Vegas with my small family and friends. My cousin is a huge Prince fan. Her dog is named Prince, everything has always been about Prince. They had a different flight from us, so on her way back from Vegas she had a two and a half layover in Minnesota. That sneaky girl convinced her husband (also a huge Prince fan) to go to Paisley Park and they were taken aback.
Was so happy for her (them). Hopefully you can see this link:

BTW, we were in Vegas for my only brothers wedding. Amazingly about 45 people made the trip and shared in the festivities. There was actually a reception after and wouldn't you know we danced to Prince most of the night because of some severe tipping the DJ syndrome. I'll remember screaming Kiss, Let's Go Crazy and Purple Rain near tears at the top of our lungs with my wife, cousin and her husband for the rest of my life. what a blast.
