go back. What remains after generations of this is a depleted human residue of ignorance, economic irrelevance, bigotry, superstition, disaffection, resentment, addiction, and stupidity. These problems intensify with each generation. The goobers have children before ready to fund or lead a family, send those children to backwater religious schools, and aspire to nothing much more than a disability claim, a lottery hit, or the next handful of street pills.
Most people who live in successful, modern communities have no idea of the level of dysfunction and ugliness that exists no more than 40 or 50 miles from a successful city.
