I have been on a small project that has been pretty well received but having trouble (oddly) getting views from the area (demographic) that would be most interested in Red Dirt. This is very big genre of music around the area where I live and it has been big for the several years. These bands were around before the genre had a name. I do not expect that people in the major cities on the coast would give a dang, but how should I get the world out to areas beyond the Red Dirt circuit. Lets just say Fargo, ND. They do not have the means to travel to promote the album and radio is not interested in playing a new genre of country. Have a look at the video and message me on twitter @damenchipguy if anybody has a suggestion; thanks! It is a really nice look at what the night life is like in Stillwater, OK or Tulsa, OKC and the other cities in Oklahoma. Before anybody says anything pop music is still dominiated by Lady GaGa, she just sold out the Ford Center (that is where the OKC Thunder play) but I am talking about a differant market segment.
