does refer a friend work?

I have reffered 2 friends in the last 2 days, and the emails they say they got just link directly to the main hsx.com page. They have set up accounts and are now using them, but they were never asked about being reffered, and since the link was just www.hsx.com I am worried I won't get credit for reffering them.

 

Has anyone had the reffer a friend work and got the $25k for it?
