I will tell you again why it happened. Your trade did not cause the drop. The prevailing direction of the stock has been down. There is an
HSX program nicknamed "The Twins" that initiates stock movement on approximately the quarter hour. It is possible that traders caused the stock to move. However, the time being what you say it was would indicate "The Twins" are a more likely culprit.
You are not initiating movement before your sale is completed. The movement occurs beforehand. A millisecond...a second...whatever...you have bad luck with stock movement. I have bought plenty of stocks and been there before movement...I have seen stocks move right after my purchase...seen them move before my purchase is processed. It happens.
If what you are saying were true...it would happen everytime you buy a stock. One trade does not move a stock. Never has. Doesn't take two...it probably takes 8 or 9 or maybe more. I never bothered to set up a bunch of accounts to test because I just don't worry about it that much. I know it isn't one or two for sure.
