When I examine HSX, I see that a major draw towards playing the game is interactivity. Being able to buy stock within a movie you just saw, or your favorite star is probably the game's greatest asset. I feel that this attraction might be enhanced if a poll were to be held to determine the next IPOs. This could be done for StarBonds, where administrators might compile a shortlist of potential IPOs, say four of them, and have the community vote upon which they deem most worth for whatever reason. It could also be done for MovieStocks. Not all of them, as many movies with stocks on HSX don"t generate large-enough appeal to conduct a vote. The Saturday-debuting blockbusters do, however. We could conduct polls for them. Same template.
This process could be sidestepped if necessary; if a star is about to form, and urgently needs a StarBond, or if a megahit has just been announced.
I think this concept would magnify the experience for seasoned HSXers, as well as serve to attract new traders. Community (and most importantly, administrators), what do you think?
