A suggestiion to tweak the adjust formulas

I have long advocated the following.

The Thursday pre-opener numbers are throwing off the adjust prices. 

Not all movies perform as well on Thursday pre-openers.  While GFB movies do very well, adult marketed dramas and animated films not so well.

My suggestion:   change the formula to be (Fri-Sun)*2.7 plus previous.  That way, the pre-opener does not get multiplied, and we get back closer to the delist price.  If it is a holiday weekend, 2.2 times the weekend plus previous.  If a Thanksgiving movie has a pre-opener, a simillar formula.

As to Christmas, there are 3 wide movies opening this year.  I would be willing to try the experiment of no .OW, .PU or .CA for that weekend since there is no formula to apply.

Want to have fun?  Try 2 weekends for the derivatives.   Let them halt on Christmas Eve. 

BUT DO NOT THROW AWAY the regular adjusts. 

Like HSX Orange, it will drive people away from the site.
