I know what they said, and I can still look at the source code for the page, last time I looked it was a repeated cycle of 50
I haven't checked if that that list changes if you refresh the page repeatedly.
In the old version, the ticker ran off of a file that you could access, if you knew how. Much like how the xml feeds seem to update only about once per minute now, it updated on a predictable time table, like every 5 or 10 minutes with every trade made since the last update. The website Faaborg's used this info for all of the graphs and trends they showed. Until access to similar data is available, the ticker is, as always, useless.
You hear me HSX, bring back actual useful ticker data. Pretty please.

actually, DMac posted that the HSX Ticker (bottom of every hsx page) now runs in real time instead being delayed Nov 28, 16:50
Yes, but as far as I know it still only shows a repeated cycle of 50 trades, so I would call that far from real time {nm} Nov 28, 18:06
That ticker isn't even remotely the same thing as one that says "Up" or "Down" whenever a stock reverses position. {nm} Nov 28, 18:08
