You've increased share limits, and intend to do it again. But you haven't adjusted the volatility. It doesn't make sense to use the old
formula. You need to adjust things to better reflect reality. I thought that reality was what you're after? Leaving the same formula while doubling trading volume is frankly... dumb. Nothing reflects the real market here which is your stated interest. You're not attracting new players here. If the game is getting unplayable by players tha have been here for years with net worths in the billions, what do you suppose somebody can do with 2 mil that doesn't have a clue on how to play the game yet? It would seem that you're trying to make the prices of stocks change more frequently to enable you to sell more data and/or better reflect the true potential of a given movie. Day trading under this kind of volatility is actually destroying the accuracy of your data. Stocks are making HUGE swings for nothing. It's not interest in the movie, it's not bad reviews, it's not people seeing the movie for themselves, it's just day traders trying to make a buck buying and selling at random for no real reason other than H$. Such data is worth nothing in your business model. This just sucks. The game no longer makes any sense. Gathering information and/or news that kind of stuff doesn't mean anything any more. All a guy can do is sit there continuously refreshing the portfolio page and trade what's moving.
