Description

American Splendor is based on Harvey Pekar's semi-autobiographical cult comic about a man who writes comics and supports himself through an office job. Paul Giamatti and Hope Davis star in the film adaptation written and directed by Shari Berman and Bob Pulcini. The film won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Dramatic Picture at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival.
