Description

Aishwarya Rai is one of Bollywood's biggest stars. She gained international recognition in 1994 when she won the Miss World pageant, which also helped launch her film career in India. In 2003, Rai became the first Indian actress to sit on the jury of the Cannes Film Festival. The aqua-eyed beauty crossed over to English-speaking films in Bride & Prejudice and Chaos, opposite Meryl Streep.
