Description

Spanish director Jose Luis Cuerda's drama is set at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War. The film, entitled La Lengua de las Mariposas in the original Spanish, is a coming-of-age tale about a teacher and the impact of the civil war on Galicia, the autonomous community in northwest Spain. Fernando Fernan-Gomez and Uxia Blanco star in this historical drama. The film was originally titled Butterfly's Tongue.
