Description

The eye-opening documentary Born into Brothels from Zana Briski and Ross Kaufman takes an intimate look at children growing up in the red light district of Calcutta and working as prostitutes. The film also details the relationship Briski established with the kids and her attempts to empower them. Thinkfilm will distribute the the film which won the documentary audience award at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival.
