Born in Honduras, Carlos Mencia came to the U.S. as a baby and grew up in East L.A. He honed his comedic talents at open mic night at the Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store and LA Cabaret. Mencia then landed his own show Mind of Mencia on Comedy Central. He stars in the feature films The Hearbreak Kid and Our Family Wedding.
